We will present information if you have a security alarm system with security alarm monitoring and fire alarm monitoring. Today, we will look at Alarm Response Policies in the City of Owen for the Owen Sound Police Services & Owen Sound Fire Department.
Owen Sound is located in Grey County in Southern Ontario. Owen Sound Police Service have been providing service in the City of Owen Sound for over 150 years, and currently services its 21,000 residents. The Police service in Owen Sound responds to alarm calls from residential and home security systems, as well as security systems from businesses and commercial properties.
Security Alarm System Response Policy from Owen Sound Police Service:
There is no current registration or cost recovery for false alarms in place for response from Owen Sound Police.
Fire Alarm Response Policy for Owen Sound Fire Department:
Failure to Report Testing or Work to Monitoring Company or Fire Department: $410.00
Equipment Malfunction: $410.00 (after the first incident, at the discretion of the Chief)
2 or more False Alarms in a Year: $410.00
